public. Should you have any questions or need for further assistance
regarding any of the information provided in this section, please do

Q. I know an elderly person who I believe is being abused,
neglected, and/or exploited. What can I do?
We have prepared a quick reference document Reporting
Suspected Abuse,
Neglect, or Exploitation. This is a PDF document for which you will
need the Adobe Reader. Included in this document is a list of contact
information for relevant agencies.
Q. Do you have any
information about scams?
We have prepared a short article for dowload in PDF format entitled "Don't be
a
Victim." If you have
any questions about the legitimacy of a business, person, or entity
asking for money, please contact you local law enforcement
non-emergency number. They work in cooperation with the Yuma County
Elder Abuse Task Force to detect and prevent scam artists in the
community.
